Heading into the clash against Waaia last weekend Phillips was looking to kick the 8 goals required for his 100 for the season which he cleaned up before half time ending up with 11 for the game.
Phillips has had a terrific impact at the Tungamah Football Netball Club in his debut season. The 16-year-old talented forward quickly racked up 89 goals in the under 17s competition in just eight games and 12 goals in just three games for the seniors, taking his personal tally to 101 after round 13.
Witness the moment Lach kicked the tonne and celebrated with his teammates and some Waaia opponents.
