It will run a daily makeshift grocery store, offering meat, vegetables, dry goods, canned goods, frozen items, cheese and eggs between 8am and 8pm.
After stage one COVID-19 restrictions were put in place Sunday night, the club advised members on Monday afternoon it would be forced to close.
On Wednesday, it advised members it had decided to provide a takeaway service allowable under the restrictions.
Reduced hours started from midday Wednesday to offer a specifically tailored takeaway bistro menu, takeaway liquor sales and items from its Coffee Shop.
The Grocery Shop is an added service, with the club suggesting other essential items may be added to the stock over coming weeks.
The club has ensured it is offering all the popular bistro items with parmigiana, porterhouse, schnitzel, burgers and assorted Asian and Indian style meals.
‘‘We are doing this so we can keep some of our staff employed,’’ a club spokesperson said.
‘‘The more support we get, the more staff we can have working during this time.’’
The club will offer its bistro and bar services from midday to 2pm and 6pm to 8pm.
Delivery will also be available for a $5 fee within Deniliquin and up to 5km from the town boundaries.
Each driver will be equipped with Responsible Service of Alcohol licences.
