They are toe-tapping and funny bone-tickling with a twist of spicy burlesque exuberance.
And in just a few weeks, Royal High Jinx group members will be in town for a spirited performance.
Inspired by European traditions with a dash of gypsy jazz, Latin, electro-swing beats and pop, the Melbourne band is sure to mesmerise.
Members Jennifer Hawley, Terry Cole, Sarah Busuttil Palmer and Silas Palmer initially came together as two couples playing music at impromptu gigs, eventually taking the Australian festival circuit by storm.
Each performer brings their own distinct flavour to the table.
Violinist Ms Busuttil Palmer offers an exciting mixture of fun-loving energy and expertise.
In addition to energetic antics on and off stage, she is backed by experience playing with the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra and Melbourne Opera Orchestra - plus plenty of folk and contemporary Australian bands.
As for Mr Palmer, he must be seen to be fully appreciated.
The jack of all trades - and master of them, too - takes on the role of drummer, bass player, pianist and vocalist, all at once.
Meanwhile, Ms Hawley's tasteful guitar work and Mr Cole's mandolin and vocals round out the band's unforgettable sound.
With all this musical talent on tap, you would expect this group takes itself very seriously.
Think again.
The Royal High Jinx prefer to keep things comical and mischievous, relating stories of the bohemian travelling musician, lost and found love and everyday existence - all with tongue firmly lodged in cheek.
In the members own words: "They are out to seduce your soul via your funny bone.”
