More than 50 Probus members from Rochester, Echuca and Kerang congregated at Rochester’s Lions Park last week for a BBQ, a cuppa and a chat to celebrate Seniors Week.
With snags on the barby and the sun shining, the Sydney vs Melbourne rivalry was no match for our happy retirees, who managed to recruit a caravanning Probus couple from Paramatta to join in on the action.
“They stopped in for a cuppa and said hi, now they’re going to go look at the silos and will meet us for lunch when it’s ready,” said Probus secretary Thelma Walles.
Groups were from Echuca Centennial, Campaspe Murray, Kerrang and Parramatta, and a good day was had by all.
