Murchison families enjoyed an afternoon of fun at the Stevenson St pool on Monday, attending the Pool Carnival Fun.

All afternoon lifeguards patrolled diligently as children enjoyed splashing around, enjoying the carnival fun during the school holidays.

The day was part of the Greater Shepparton City Council's Activities in the Park program encouraging children and families to get outside this summer.

It's part of the Get Mooving Greater Shepparton initiative taking the region by storm.
