Rhyme and Story Time and Baby Rhyme Time have resumed across the region. You don’t need to book or wear a face mask, unless you want to.
Participants are urged to arrive 15 minutes prior to the session so everyone can be checked in and seated before the session starts.
All adults attending must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a medical exemption.

Craft and Chat
Make it at home: Pick up your free, make-at-home craft activity from your local library. Craft and Coffee will begin at the library in the new year.
Make a Christmas tree decoration: Colour or paint and create your own home-made Christmas tree decoration. Printed tree design and instructions will be supplied; bring your own colouring pens or pencils, or paint. Next-level artist: Add sequins, glitter, tinsel, lace and ribbons to make your Christmas trees stand out from the forest.
Make a Christmas luminary candle holder: Transform a household jar into a festive candle holder with a village scene. Printed templates, a sheet of black card and instructions are supplied; you will need a glass jar, ruler, pencil, scissors, glue or tape. Battery tea light or fairy lights. Next-level artist: Add white paint with a small sponge or spray ‘snow’, or glitter!

Shepparton
- The Knitters meet every Friday, 10am to noon. Bring along your knitting or crochet projects and join the circle for friendly chat and yarn fun.

Libraries After Dark @ Shepparton Library
Looking for something different on a Thursday evening? Why not visit the library! The Shepparton Library is open until 10pm. All the regular library services are available. Library membership is free — just ask Andre or Nicole how easy it is to sign up. As the library is able to welcome more people, programming will resume on Thursday evenings. As some people may still be reluctant to come into the library, or are unable to visit at present, all the services offered during lockdowns are still available:
- Click and Collect continues — place your holds and collect at the door.
- Let library staff select for you, just tell them what you like. You can phone or email with a list or drop a list off.
- Returns through the outside chute.
- Free WiFi available for a short range outside the library — no password required.
- Mobile printing from the Goulburn Valley Libraries webpage and pick-up at the door. Payment with cash or EFTPOS.
- Download eBooks, eAudiobooks, movies and much more anywhere, anytime with your free library membership. Phone your library if you need help — staff are there to help you.
