A 31-year-old Kialla man has been charged with trafficking cocaine, possessing cocaine, dealing with property suspected to be the proceeds of crime, possess a prohibited weapon, possessing testoviron and refusing access to storage devices.
Police allegedly found 125.1g of cocaine, nine testoviron vials, a spring-loaded baton and $8385 cash when searching his home on Thursday, October 16.
They also allegedly found empty vacuum seal bags, a small hand-held vacuum, an iPhone, a portable camera with an SD card and a CCTV hard drive.
Police said initial analysis of the SD card allegedly revealed he had been trafficking drugs from his home for some time.
One of the incidents found on the SD card allegedly showed the man in his garage getting cocaine out of his pocket and scales out of a cabinet, then using the scales and a small hand-held vacuum on them.
Another incident allegedly showed an unknown male in the garage purchasing cocaine from the man.
The man also allegedly told police he had drugs in his car.
When searching the car, police allegedly found a bag of cocaine, two rubber straws containing white power residue believed to be cocaine, two Queensland number plates, two Victorian number plates, and one South Australian number plate.
During an interview the man refused to give his pin code to police, but allegedly made admissions to possessing cocaine and trafficking it while working at his family business on Vaughan St, Shepparton, about five times.
The man had previously been charged with trafficking cocaine and cannabis, for which he was sentenced to a 15-month community corrections order in September 2024.
He was remanded to appear in Shepparton Magistrates’ Court in November.
