Cobram's Luca Allen shows off his premiership and best-on-ground medallion.
From kicking the footy at Scott Oval as a youngster to becoming Cobram's first grand final best-on-ground medallist in nearly three decades, Luca Allen was a popular choice for the honour.

The Tigers midfielder was everywhere in his side’s three-point win, acting as one of the chief playmakers and showcasing a dash and flair that proved valuable as Cobram streaked away in the second quarter.
Add a running goal from 40 metres, and it’s no wonder he was awarded his second medal of the day, saying he was glad for Cobram to get their foot in the door of a grand final and take its opportunity.
But in those final few moments, Allen must have been unsure if he would have one medal.
“The heart rate was through the roof,” Allen said.
“It would have been worse watching as a Tigers fan, that last quarter felt like it went for two hours, but I’m just so proud.
“I just can't put into words how much this group means to me, the ones that stuck together.
“I was saying to a few of the boys, it just didn't feel real; as soon as that siren went, I felt like I had 10 blokes just jump on top of me.”

Family bonds have been the cornerstone of Cobram's ethos in recent times.
Allen, taking to the field with his brother Matteo and alongside the close-knit Beasley, Hyde, and Roberts families, embodies the yellow and black spirit that runs deep in the community.
“Since we were born, we were down at Scott’s Oval kicking the footy with the old man,” he said.
“He’s worked his backside off for the club, Mum’s probably the most passionate supporter in the crowd.
“We live and breathe footy, our family. We've been through the highs and lows, especially losing (a grand final) a few years ago.
“This just means so much to our family.”
But for the 25-year-old, there was someone who should have been out there sharing in premiership glory with him.
“I want to give full credit to my best mate Harry Beasley, who did his ACL in round one,” Allen said.
“He's been huge for me this year, I love him to bits, he deserves this more than anyone else as well.
“And I know this medal is dedicated to him, for sure.”
