It was a tough day on the court as our side faced a red-hot Moama outfit, who came out firing and maintained a smooth, consistent style of play across all four quarters.
From the first whistle, Moama applied relentless pressure, forcing us into mistakes and capitalising at every opportunity.
Despite having plenty of the ball and some promising passages of play, we struggled to convert that possession into scoreboard impact.
Moama’s defensive pressure and composed execution made it difficult for us to build momentum, and they punished turnovers with precision.
A shining light for us was Emma Parks, who was outstanding in her 150th club game.
A true milestone performance, Emma played her role to perfection, bringing composure to the court. She led by example from start to finish.
Ella Harvey, our ever-reliable ‘Miss Consistent’, once again proved why she’s such a valuable member of our team.
She never let up, pushing hard throughout the match and giving everything she had.
Similarly, Keely Mitsch gave a tireless performance, constantly presenting into open court and providing strong options through transition.
Her commitment helped keep us in the contest and opened up opportunities when we needed them.
While the final score didn’t reflect the effort, the team showed glimpses of what we’re capable of.
Awards: Emma Parks, Ella Harvey and Keely Mitsch.
