While this new opportunity is exciting, it also brings mixed emotions as I reflect on what I’m leaving behind.
The past 4 years with CIRCA 1936 have been incredibly fulfilling. Together with Jen, we’ve advanced this iconic building and its incredible interior design that has truly resonated with the local community, offering a unique experience for both locals and visitors alike.
From the warm embrace of our customers to the unforgettable memories made, CIRCA 1936 will always hold a special place in my heart.
And though we’re putting the business on the market, I believe there’s an incredible opportunity for the right couple to come in and build upon what we’ve been part of, further developing CIRCA 1936 into the legacy we know it can be.
Alongside CIRCA 1936, my role on the CRW Regional Business Chamber has been equally fulfilling.
In the 2.5 years I’ve served on the board and as Executive Officer, we’ve worked hard to push the Chamber’s strategic initiatives forward.
The Business Awards in June were a milestone event, bringing together the best of our region and showcasing the growth and potential of our local businesses.
The momentum we’ve built has been outstanding, but there’s still much to be done.
We have so much untapped potential in this region, but it requires a dedicated driver to help connect the dots and empower the capable individuals who are already here.
I’m hopeful that someone will step into the Executive Officer role at the Chamber, continuing to drive the strategic initiatives that will help our region realize its true potential.
I’m also excited for the future of CIRCA 1936, and while Jen and I transition out of this chapter, she will continue to manage the business for the time being.
It is my hope that I will remain engaged with the Chamber on the board, even as I relocate to Sydney, so I can continue supporting the growth of our community.
To everyone in the region who has welcomed me with open arms, I want to extend my deepest gratitude. You’ve made these years truly memorable.
I look forward to seeing the next chapter unfold for both the Chamber and CIRCA 1936. The future is bright, and I know that with the right leadership, the best is yet to come.
