It was a tough game, going down to Katunga by 34 goals.
Despite the result, the girls played with incredible determination and spirit, especially against the reigning 2024 premiers.

Although it was another loss against Katunga, it was a spirited match that demonstrated great resilience and determination.
The first half was one the team would rather forget, with only four goals on the scoreboard, but a few position changes and some great cheering from the bench saw the girls win the third quarter and boosted everyone’s spirits.
The team ran out of puff in the final quarter, eventually going down 18-44.
Sophie Roe had a wonderful transition into the shooting ring, sinking many goals, whereas Katie Gurcuillo was back in defence, pulling in the rebounds and applying pressure.
Stacey Crutch made her netball comeback and provided much needed stability in the attacking end, with Ella Breen, Brooke Pitt and Bec Mitchell bringing it down court in some lovely chains of play.
Sienna Reid and Shikaya Hall were solid in defence as always.

Under-17s: Jerilderie 55 def Katunga 28.
The team scored a convincing win against Katunga.

Under-15s: Jerilderie 62 def Katunga 8.
The team bounced back with a massive home win over Katunga.
They came out firing and kept the opposition goalless in the first quarter.
All the girls played an excellent game, in what was an awesome team effort, winning 62-8.

Under-13s: Jerilderie 27 def Katunga 7.
An outstanding win, 27-7, with a brilliant team performance all round.
Under-11s: Not scored.
The day kicked off with the Net Set Go girls, who started the celebrations with a fantastic mini game full of energy, excitement, and growing skills on display.
It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and love for the game shining through.
Following that, the under-11s took to the court and every girl gave it her all, showing incredible skill, determination, and team spirit.
From strong passes to quick footwork and great teamwork, it was a joy to watch them play and support each other throughout the game.
