Multiple charges, bail refused

A 36-year-old former Corowa resident has been charged with multiple offences including property damage, trespass and stealing, and bail was refused in Parramatta Local Court on June 28.

Well known to Corowa Central Business District, the man is banned from numerous local businesses however continued to enter these businesses on Friday, June 27.

At one point Corowa Police gave the male a move on direction from the Corowa CBD for six hours however he returned within the hour. About 5.00pm after receiving yet another call for assistance police attended Sanger Street where the man was arrested.

Theft from BWS

On Monday, June 23, at about 8.50pm a 33-year-old Corowa local entered BWS and after his card was declined, walked out of the premises without paying for alcohol and cigarettes.

Police said they are still investigating this matter with the likelihood that the male will get an appearance in court.
