Varroa mite impacts pollinators

Potential declines in bee populations due to varroa mite infestation could jeopardise Australian horticultural production, according to Rabobank.

The agribusiness banking specialist says the parasitic varroa mite, which attacks European honey bees, was detected in NSW in 2022 and has since been deemed ineradicable.
