The wind may have been cold, but the cuppas were hot and the treats were tasty enough to make venturing out worth it on Thursday.
Community members flocked to the Deniliquin CBD in support of the annual Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser.
Hosted by Denise Phillips at My Shop in Napier St, she and her helpers put on a great spread to entice people to donate.
Some took the time to stay and enjoy their treats, with patio furniture provided to accommodate them.
Others perused the stall and took their goodies to go, to enjoy later or share with work colleagues, family or friends.
There was also a raffle to raise additional money, which will be donated to support NSW Cancer Council projects and programs.
The four-hour morning tea was just wrapping up as the Pastoral Times went to print yesterday.
More photos and a fundraising tally will be provided in Tuesday’s edition.
