Bendigo author Laurelle Cousins is hitting Rushworth to host a book signing for her latest release on Saturday, May 17.
From 9am to noon, Ms Counsins will be outside the Rushworth General Store to sell and sign copies of her latest novel, which was released on April 17.
As an avid reader growing up, Ms Cousins always held a place in her heart for literature, second to her love for agriculture.
She pursued the art of writing, which led to the publication of her second book, Sheep Gully Road.
Sheep Gully Road tells the story of an unlikely pair drawn together, finding unexpected connection amid loss, grief, growth and redemption.
“I write what I want to read, and I think that’s where it has fallen into that space,” Ms Cousins said.
“I’ve met so many wonderful people while I’ve been writing, within the writing world, as well as readers, and I just can’t stop doing it.”
