Now’s your chance to nominate the seniors in your life for the Victorian Senior of the Year Awards.
State Member for Shepparton Kim O’Keeffe has urged the community to nominate the dedicated senior volunteers for one of the six categories.
“There are so many wonderful seniors in our communities who selflessly dedicate their time and energy to make a positive impact,” she said.
The award ceremony will be held in October, coinciding with the annual Victorian Seniors Festival.
Nominees must be aged 60 years or older, or 50 years or older for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Victorians, and all nominees will receive certificates acknowledging their contributions.
Nominations can be submitted online until August 11 at seniorsonline.vic.gov.au/awards
