During high tea, women raised a pinkie and their voices to celebrate women’s achievements.

On Thursday, March 7, about 150 women gathered at Kyabram Parkland Golf Club to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Organised by EmpowHER, the local community group aimed to provide a supportive and encouraging oasis for its guests.

Guest speaker Neha Samar further exemplified this mission.

Ms Samar, founder of The Flamingo Project, shared her insights and experiences on emotional resilience, breaking generational trauma, financial barriers, and dealing with rejection.

Her speech captivated the masses, leaving guests empowered, motivated and uplifted by the event’s end.

It was every woman’s cup of tea, including Free Press photographer Megan Fisher, who was present to capture the event.
