More than 200 sausages were sizzled as part of the festivities, which raised $935.
Cadell Food Service said it would match the funds raised on the day, resulting in a total of $1870 donated for the charity, which has been working to improve the lives of disadvantaged children for more than a century.
Cadell Food Service marketing manager Nancy Turner said it was a top result.
“This was the first time we’ve held a charity event like this at the business,” she said.
“It was an initiative of the sales team and proved a terrific day.
“To sell more than 200 sausages was fantastic, we had obviously great support from the staff, but also had truckies park their semis out the front and come to buy a sausage.
“To get that outside support was just fantastic and really fostered a spirit of unity and compassion.
“The incredible sum raised will directly impact the lives of our most vulnerable children living below the poverty line in the local area.”
Cadell Food Service extended its deepest appreciation to Mars Food, Tip Top Food Service and Echuca Meats, as well as every person who lent a helping hand, donated and shared in the fundraising cause.
