Kerbside bin changes in Campaspe Shire during festive season

Campaspe Shire has announced there will be no council kerbside bin collection on Christmas Day.

The council said this meant from Boxing Day (Tuesday, December 26) until Saturday, December 30, kerbside collection services would operate one day later than usual across the shire.

“If your usual collection day is Monday, your bins will be collected on Tuesday; if your usual collection day is Tuesday, bins will be collected Wednesday and so on until Saturday, December 30,” a council spokesperson said.

SCHEDULE

Monday, December 25, 2023: No collection

Tuesday, December 26, 2023: Monday collections

Wednesday, December 27, 2023: Tuesday collections

Thursday, December 28, 2023: Wednesday collections

Friday, December 29, 2023: Thursday collections

Saturday, December 30, 2023: Friday collections

As always, to ensure your bins are collected, please place them outside your property the night before.

Then you can relax, sleep-in and enjoy your morning coffee knowing that the Christmas waste is taken care of.

Kerbside collection services will resume as normal from Monday, January 1, 2024.

All eight Resource Recovery Centres will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

Services will operate as usual on all other dates.
