The mismatch on paper lived up to the billing at Moama Recreation Reserve as the home side kept its unbeaten run alive while Tongala continued to hunt for its first win of the season.
Jordan McGregor and Matt Saunders proved a handful for the Tonny top order, which was reduced to 3-9 at one stage after a ruthless spell of pace bowling.

That opening stanza set the tone for the rest of the innings, and despite a defiant 23 runs from Rory Knight, Tongala was dismissed for 60 in the 34th over, Jordan McGregor the chief destroyer with 4-6 off eight overs.

With a modest total to chase, Moama wasted no time knocking over the Blues.
Michael Hill (21) and Archie Teasdale (25) blasted their team to victory in just 5.3 overs, sealing a 10-wicket win and a return to the top of the McMahon Shield table.
