Is it a turtle, or is it a tortoise?

Recently, the Courier received feedback that Sherman, the Arts for All figure currently sitting outside Cobram IGA, has been described as both a turtle and a tortoise.

Gabriel from the Courier went on a mission to find out whether Sherman was indeed a tortoise or a turtle.

It turns out all tortoises are turtles, but not all turtles are tortoises.

Turtles eat both plants and animals, whereas tortoises are vegetarians.

Turtles live in the sea, and tortoises live on land.

Therefore tortoises have feet, and turtles have flippers.

So the verdict, according to the Courier’s resident animal expert Gabriel, is that Sherman is a tortoise.
