Highlights for the day will include LEGO competitions and displays including a guest appearance from LEGO Masters contestant Fleur Watkins.
There will also be the Berkley Supertank fish exhibit, free mini train rides and face painting.
Children can also enjoy a puppet show, Black Snake wildlife display, a full horse program and animal nursery.
The usual food and market stalls, show bags, cooking competitions and craft and produce displays will dominate the pavilions.
The All Breeds Dairy Cattle Show will this year feature a stunning flower garland and more than $2000 in prize money, including $500 for grand champion.
There will also be junior handling categories and a fancy-dress competition.
One of this year’s judges will be the internationally renowned Simon Tognola.
Cattle entries closed earlier than past years, on Friday, September 29.
Colin Rendell is looking forward to getting more entries into the motorbike competition that he has run at the show for more than 40 years.
Mr Rendell said the contest is aimed at avid motorbike riders aged 15 years and older and involves an obstacle course, which includes a small see-saw and gate-opening exercise.
“They need to open and shut a farm gate without putting their feet on the ground,” he said.
“The same goes for a slalom tyre course where they can’t touch a tyre on the way though.”
With a rich history of having sent 12 winners from a statewide competition to the Melbourne Royal Show, Mr Rendell is inviting anyone with a passion for motorbikes to enter on the day.
