Novelist Kylie Ladd will bring her current book tour to the region when she stops at Cobram Library later this month.
The tour will feature her most recently published book I’ll Leave You With This, a story about a brother’s legacy and the tangled bonds of sisterhood.
Described as heartbreaking, funny, thought-provoking and honest, the novel follows the story of the four O’Shea sisters, who have slowly drifted apart throughout their lives and even more after their brother Daniel’s death.
On the third anniversary of his death, the sisters come together to track the recipients of Daniel’s donated organs in an effort to rekindle their sisterly bonds.
Aside from being a novelist, Mrs Ladd is also a psychologist and freelance writer who has published five previous novels, essays and articles in various publications and co-edited and co-authored two non-fiction books.
The author talk will take place at Cobram library at 2pm on Wednesday, April 26, with copies of the book available for purchase.
