The northern Victorian resident held one of the four division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4343, drawn Saturday, March 4, and took home a total division one prize of $1,335,595.34.
This morning, an official from The Lott reached out to the hard-working man, who was going about his morning completely oblivious to becoming a newly-made millionaire over the weekend.
“Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!” he happily yelled.
“Have I won that money? I’ve won $1.3 million in TattsLotto!
“I’m in shock. I’m at work now, so I had no idea!
“I won $60 on Super 66 in the weekend’s draw, and I noticed I had another win on my TattsLotto ticket, but I didn’t have a chance to look.
“I’ve played TattsLotto on and off now for a little while. This was just a random QuickPick I decided to play.
“I’ll finish work early today and take the rest of the day to process the win!
“I can quit my job!”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his $1.3 million win in TattsLotto, the happy winner immediately knew he would put it towards his first home.
“Wow, I can buy a house! It will be my first home!” he said.
“I’ve got a holiday coming up in a couple of months, and I’ll be able to enjoy it even more!
“I can’t believe this!”
His winning 36-game entry was purchased online at thelott.com lottery website.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4343 on Saturday were 32, 34, 33, 13, 9 and 1, while the supplementary numbers were 8 and 15.
Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4343, four in Victoria.
