Shepparton United is on the board in the Goulburn Murray Cricket women's A-grade season after a round two win against Kyabram Fire Brigade.

United skipper Lia Beecroft won the toss and chose to claim first use of the Princess Park pitch on Sunday, with her charges able to put together what proved to be a winning total of 7-82.
Opener Stacey Lothian (13 retired not out from 30 deliveries) dug in with the bat before Bridget Drum (27 retired not out) and Beecroft (13 not out) helped lift the rate through the middle order.
Lothian bowled outstandingly to snare figures of 2-1 from four overs, with Raechel Gardiner (2-10) and Drum (2-18) also chipping in to help restrict the chase to 8-56 from 20 overs.
The Flames were led magnificently by Lauren Hall (27 not out from 37) with the bat and Georgia Ross (3-13) and Sarah Mott (2-8) with the ball, but could not get over the line when the dust settled on the clash.
In the other A-grade fixture, Leitchville-Gunbower chased down Echuca's 5-86 with ease, finishing with 3-101 from its 20 overs.
It was an all-round bowling performance from the combine with no multiple wicket-takers, while Charlotte McGillivray (25) and Jorgie Wright (21 retired not out) led the way with the bat.
Echuca's Sharon Henson (28 retired not out) and Sue Eade (16) both impressed during their respective knocks.
â—� In B-grade action Kyabram fell to Maiden Gully by 34 runs.
Kylie Parsons took 2-8 as Gully racked up 3-104 in 20 overs, but the Redbacks could only manage 4-70 in reply with Alannah Scopelliti top-scoring on 13 retired not out.
West Bendigo was also on the winners list after a tight triumph against California Gully.
