Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it is Santa Claus visiting students in a helicopter!

Santa and two of his elves took time out from their busy pre-Christmas schedule to meet with hundreds of students from Rochester and Elmore Primary Schools on Wednesday, December 14.

While there were no reindeer, Santa certainly arrived at Elmore Recreation Reserve in style, touching down at Elmore Recreation Reserve in a Powercor helicopter.

The chopper was loaned to Santa by Powercor as a way to thank the community and wish local students a Merry Christmas after a tough year for many families in the area impacted by flooding.
