Poland's Marciniak to ref World Cup final

Marciniak has previously refereed both finalists in Qatar. He took charge when France played Denmark in the group stage, and was also in the middle when Australia faced Argentina in the last-16. 

He will be joined for Sunday's final (2am Monday AEDT) by assistants Pawel Sokolnicki and Tomasz Listkiewicz.

Qatari Abdulrahman Al Jassim was appointed to referee the third-place match between Croatia and Morocco at the Khalifa International Stadium on Saturday (2am Sunday AEDT).

He will be assisted by compatriots Taleb Al Marri and Saoud Ahmed Almaqaleh.
