Bulldogs grant Allan NRL release

Injury restricted the Brisbane-born back to just three games in 2022.

The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Sydney Roosters, who lost Oliver Gildart (the Dolphins), Adam Keighran (Catalans) and Kevin Naiqama (Huddersfield) at the end of the season.

Canterbury will now have the option to add another player to their top 30 after being one of the most-active clubs this off-season.

The Bulldogs have added Viliame Kikau (Penrith), Reed Mahoney (Parramatta) and Ryan Sutton (Canberra) over the summer, with promising prop Franklin Pele also joining from Cronulla.
