Perfect weather assisted the St Michael’s Primary School students to perform their best at the annual school athletics carnival.

Eucalyptus was the winning house, narrowly defeating Acacia for the third year in a row.
The parent leader ball team also had a close win against Year 6.
Athletics champions for 2019 were as follows:
Junior Girl Champion - Arabella Bliss, runner-up - Ava Marshall; Junior Boy Champion - Oscar Wren, runner -up - Henry Robinson; 11 Year Girl - Aysha Mitsch, runner-up - Carla Crossley; 11 Year Boy - Oscar Marshall, runner-up - Sam Crossley; 12/13 Year Girl - Ava Robinson, runner-up - Sophie Norris; 12/13 Year Boy - Ben Crossley, runner-up - Sam Sides.
A total of 44 children qualified for the Cluster Carnival to be held in Deniliquin on Monday, August 5.
