This comes after National Cabinet agreed on Monday, April 19 to fast-track vaccinations for over-50s in order to hasten Australia's embattled COVID-19 vaccination rollout.
AstraZeneca is now no longer recommended for under 50s after it was recently linked to an extremely rare blood clotting condition.
However, health authorities said the vaccine contained fewer risks and greater benefits for older people, meaning it was worth the very slight risk for people over 50.
GV Health reassured residents the vaccines being used in Australia were safe and effective at preventing serious illness and loss of life from COVID-19.
"Getting vaccinated helps protect us from getting sick from COVID-19 and protects those around us,” a GV Health spokesperson said.
“The vaccines are safe and free for all in Australia.”

When booking, be ready to provide your full name and date of birth.
You will need to bring a form of identification that shows your date of birth to your appointment – ideally one with a photograph.
While a Medicare card is not required to receive a vaccination, it is recommended to bring your card if you have one.
The appointment will take around 30 minutes – you must remain for observation for 15 minutes after you are vaccinated.
The GV Health COVID-19 vaccine hub is located at the McIntosh Centre, Shepparton Showgrounds, on the corner of Thompson and High St, Shepparton.
