Since the opening round of the Cricket Shepparton Haisman Shield season, United has slumped to consecutive losses, while the Northerners have bounced back in style.
The Jets have claimed wins against Tatura and Central Park-St Brendan's in the past fortnight and captain Mitch Brett said morale was high at the club.
“There is a good feeling amongst the group, but we're looking to build now,” he said.
“And that all starts this weekend against United.”
Brett's younger brother Joel has been at the forefront of the past two wins, with the all-rounder coming off a combined nine wickets and 57 runs.
And he has had plenty of support from opening batsmen Ben Pedretti and Darcy Collins, after the pair posted a brilliant 89-run partnership.
The recent success has come off the disappointing seven-wicket loss to Kyabram, where the Jets were trundled for 107 runs.
Brett said it had been a collective effort from the group to win back-to-back since the opening loss.
“We tend to have one game like that a season, everything just seemed to not go our way on that day,” he said.
“There has been better all-round efforts with the bat and ball and we are playing better cricket.
“I know there are a few standouts each week, but it has been a collective effort from everyone.”
And for the home side, it's been a tough couple of matches with a 10-wicket loss to Numurkah and a seven-wicket loss to Nagambie.
However, the most recent loss was a much better showing than the round two performance.
Keegan Armstrong (70 runs) and Rehan Bari (37) helped post 6-184, but it was their bowling stocks that let them down, as Nagambie chased down the total with three wickets in hand.
