Youngsters in the under-13s, 15s and 17s categories descended on Shepparton Netball Courts, with sides from across the Goulburn Valley having arrived hoping to clinch glory in the one-day spectacle on April 19.
Shepparton netball figure Kim Pettie hailed the efforts of the participants on the day, while highlighting the collective efforts of those who organized the competition, alongside those who brought it to life on-court.
“Fantastic weather on Sunday 19th for a great day of netball,” she said on social media.
“Thank you to everyone who played, coached, officiated and supported your teams.
“A huge well done and thank you to Lauren and your team, the SNA Committee, Owen, Matt, and the squad parents who helped make the day such a success.
“Congratulations to the following premiers and MVPs.”
In terms of the 13 and under reserve competition, Shepparton Maroon emerged victorious, with Edi Hicks emerging as MVP during her team’s successful title tilt as they defeated Deniliquin 15-5 in the final.
