Goulburn Valley League held its annual presentation on Sunday night, celebrating the top achievers from the 2025 season.
Echuca talent got its hands on a couple of awards, showcasing the upcoming netball talent within the Murray Bombers’ ranks.
Kate Head, who 12 months ago celebrated a best-on-court performance in Echuca’s 15-and-under flag, has taken her talents up an age bracket, winning the 17-and-under MVP with 36 votes.
Head’s team was also recognised as the best scorer in the grade, her side tallying 917 goals.
Lauren Jess was identified as the top performer in B-reserve, polling 32 votes to claim the MVP in her division.
The major honours on the night went to Mansfield and Shepparton talents.
The Eagles’ Callum Brown took the Morrison Medal with 20 votes, while Shepparton coach Kim Borger claimed the Wellman Family Medal with 37 votes.
