The Bombers wasted no time asserting control, piling on eight first-quarter goals in a dominant opening blitz en route to a 25.16 (166) to 6.4 (40) vicory in what turned into a masterclass down at Kyabram Recreation Reserve.
Anthony Depasquale set the tone early on in proceedings and proved unstoppable throughout the afternoon, finishing with a standout performance in front of goal as he notched up ten strikes.
Kyabram’s forward pressure and clean ball movement overwhelmed Euroa from the outset, with goals flowing through multiple supply lines.
Riley Ironside, Reuben Rode, Thomas Burnett and Jack Russell all contributed in the opening term as the Bombers raced to a 44-point lead at the first break.
The second quarter followed in a similar vein too, with Kyabram continuing to control territory and possession.
Depasquale added further majors to extend the margin, while Rode also found the scoreboard again as the Bombers stretched their lead beyond 60 points by halftime.
Despite a brief response from Euroa through Nate Trotter, the visitors struggled to contain Kyabram’s relentless attack - as the hosts stared a fifth defeat of the campaign in the face heading into the interval.
The Bombers maintained their dominance after half-time, producing another commanding quarter to put the result beyond doubt.
Ironside, Isaiah Scoble and Kaine Herbert all hit the scoreboard, while the impressive Depasquale continued to add to his tally in a clinical display.
Euroa managed just one goal for the term, as Kyabram’s pressure around the contest and efficiency going forward ensured the margin pushed out past 90 points heading into the final change.
With the result pretty much a mere formality by this stage, the Bombers finished strongly in the final quarter.
Russell added multiple goals, while Scoble and Mackinley Ayton also contributed as Kyabram piled on another seven goals to cap off a comprehensive performance.
Euroa managed a handful of late strikes through Jett Trotter and Max Gleeson, but the result was never really in doubt as the Bombers completed a truly dominant rout.
The victory underlines Kyabram’s status as a premiership contender, with their ability to apply sustained pressure and generate scoring opportunities across all areas of the ground proving too much for Euroa on the day.
Bombers stalwart Zachary Norris assessed the performance as a “pretty good hit out” as he highlighted the strengths of the overall showing.
“We stuck to our strengths to bounce back from the loss against Echuca the week before - we stuck to our game plan.
“We got back to what we know we’re good at around the stoppages and contests and playing our game and it was good to see what we’d worked on through the week coming to fruition.
“It was good to get back into our groove.”
As for the 10-goal exploits of teammate Depasquale, Norris’ delight was palpable as he looked back over the victory.
“He’s always been a goal sneak for us, anytime you’re kicking ten is pretty good - he’s got a fair bit of talent and whenever he’s available for us, we always love it.
“He let a few of us know that he kicked ten, so that’s always good!”
Next week, the Bombers will take on high-flying Shepparton away at Deakin Reserve, while the Magpies will be looking to ignite its season at the sixth time of asking as they host Rochester.
“Now, we’ll be looking to roll into next week with that momentum after a good win so we’ll be looking to move forwards - taking one step at a time,” Norris added.
