It was a tough weekend at the Greater Shepparton Junior Basketball tournament for the Shepparton Gators’ under-16 championship outfit.
The youngsters walked away from the two-day event with four losses and a thrilling draw to their name.
Elliana Gray and Macey Watson led the scoring output for the Gators at the weekend with 23 and 21 points respectively.
A positive for the teenagers was that as the tournament progressed, so did their performances with a nail-biting 32-32 draw against Wonthaggi Coasters in the final round the highlight of the weekend.
