The Pies kept their back-to-back premiership ambitions in ruthless fashion, sinking Seymour by 39 goals in the preliminary final at Deakin Reserve.
Ellie Warnock’s black and white brigade were clinical from the first siren, streaking away to a 15-goal lead at quarter-time and never looking back.
The Pies piled on the pain with a 21-goal buffer at half-time, and despite a mini-revival led by Ellie Fuhrmeister and Ruby Martin, Euroa would not be headed.
Liv Morris’s 15th goal saw her tick over the prestigious 1000-goal mark, earning the appreciation of the travelling Euroa faithful at Deakin Reserve as she further cemented herself as one of the league’s premier goalers of recent years.
Morris finished with 41, and was well-supported with 32 goals from Mia Sudomirski, firing Euroa to a 73-34 victory and the Pies’ third grand final in as many seasons.
Around the court, Kellie Davidson kept things locked up in Euroa’s defensive ring, while Hollie Reid assumed her typical status as one of the team’s premier playmakers.
It’s an ominous warning shot ahead of the Goulburn Valley League grand final against Shepparton, who pipped the Pies by five goals in the qualifying final.
It will be a blockbuster clash at Deakin Reserve on Sunday with history on the line for both clubs.
Meanwhile, the Lions had the last laugh in the B-grade game against Euroa, victorious by a solitary goal in a thriller.
The B-reserve Lions also booked their ticket to the grand final, while Shepparton (17-and-under) and Echuca (15-and-under) also won their way through to grand final day.
