Todd's scintillating 130 not out to chase down the 190 his side required for success was the highlight of Murray Valley Cricket Association round two premier division action.
Opening the batting, Todd marauded his way through the home side's bowling unit to slash 22 boundaries - including two maximums - at Katamatite Recreation Reserve.
“We needed one of the top four to make a big score to have a chance at chasing the 190 down, and lucky enough I was the one who was able to do it this week,” Todd told the Pastoral Times.
“It was pleasing to finally get my first hundred for the club as I was close a couple of years ago.
“I went pretty hard in the first 10 overs with the field restrictions in place and got a couple out of the middle early, but didn’t really settle in until around the 10th over.
“It’s up there with one of the best wins with the Rhinos I’ve had, the side we took over with the young guys in, they fielded great and we took most of our catches.
“To chase the score down going at close to six an over with more than 10 overs left against a top four side just topped the day off.”
An Andrew Hogan injury forced others to do the heavy lifting with ball in hand for the Rhinos, and Evan Pocock (3-30), Dylan Rotherham (2-40) and Todd himself (2-51) stepped up to the plate.
The Tigers finished with 8-189 on the back of Andrew Erickson's 57 and some other handy contributions, but it was not enough as they watched Todd take control of the clash.
Dominant victories were certainly the theme of the round, with Barooga and Cobram joining the Rhinos in an early knock-off.
The Hawks - playing their first game of the season - were in no mood to hang around against Cobram-Yarroweyah United.
After rolling the combine for just 93 in less than 35 overs, Barooga's opening batsmen Sam Leigh (28 not out) and Daniel Ellis (53 not out) reeled the total in before 18 overs had been bowled.
The 10-wicket drubbing came about thanks to the bowling efforts of Kale Watkins (3-12), Riley Gow (3-27) and Jake Poole (2-2).
Matt Watson (28) and Kane Goldsworthy (25) top-scored for United.
Cobram was in more of a miserly mood against Tocumwal - with ball in hand at least.
The reigning premier restricted the Bloods to 6-109 in their 45 overs before Wian Van Zyl blasted his way through the chase.
The South African superstar finished unbeaten on 74 as the Tigers reached 1-112 in the 19th over.
Jack Beasley (2-18) was the only Cobram bowler to snare more than one wicket as the spoils of victory were shared around.
