Two released from hospital after Shepparton explosion

The other two were released on Tuesday afternoon.

Two other men who were airlifted to Melbourne’s The Alfred hospital remain there.

A man believed to be in his 40s remained in a critical condition on Thursday afternoon, while a man believed to be in his 60s remained in a stable condition.

The explosion happened around 8am when it is believed workers were shredding small aerosol cans as part of their work.

WorkSafe investigators were on site at the Goulburn Valley Hwy business on Tuesday and Wednesday, and the investigation is ongoing.

WorkSafe dangerous goods experts were also helping with the investigation.
