Traffic was thrown into chaos in Shepparton on the afternoon of Monday, October 2, with two crashes in the main street around the same time.
One crash between two cars at the intersection of Wyndham St and Wilmot Rd shortly before 5.30pm saw traffic banked up for about 20 or 30 minutes.
Both cars from the crash will need to be towed.
Around the same time, another crash occurred between two vehicles on Wyndham St near the Sobraon St intersection.
The road was not closed, but traffic was slowed around the scene.
Police and ambulance officers attended both crashes, while firefighters helped at the crash at Wilmot Rd.
