Gannawarra Shire Council has made uLibrary available through the service, allowing members to access over 1100 audiobooks for free.
Chief executive Geoff Rollinson said the app’s addition added to the service’s diverse digital offerings.
“For many years, Gannawarra Library Service members have been able to enjoy digital resources wherever they are, and uLibrary builds on this experience,” he said.
“Whether it is a classic or a BookTok recommendation, uLibrary will enable you to enjoy your next story.”
Members can access the app by downloading it from the Apple or Google Play stores, or from the E-library by heading at www.gsc.vic.gov.au/libraries
Dive into Campaspe’s aquatic future
Campaspe Shire Council’s aquatic and wet play strategy will guide the creation of a sustainable and accessible aquatic service that meets community needs for the next 20 years.
You still have time to have your say on the strategy, aimed at enhancing the community’s access to aquatic facilities and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.
The strategy comes in response to the evolving needs of the community and the challenges faced by existing aquatic facilities.
Council has held a series of drop-in sessions and residents can also take part by completing an online survey.
The consultation period closes on August 22. For information and to have your say, visit campaspe.vic.gov.au/aquaticandwetplaystrategy
