Event organiser Gary Sidhu said the visit offered a chance for locals to hear directly from party representatives about political developments in Punjab and the party’s future direction.
“They’re here to thank the Indian community for their support,” Mr Sidhu said.
“They will be talking about their vision and what they’re trying to build.”
The event is expected to draw around 40 to 50 attendees, which will include community members and local political representatives.
Mr Sidhu said it would also mark his first time hosting a political meet and greet, driven by what he described as a long-standing personal interest in the party.
“I have been a supporter of them since childhood,” he said.
