Pandemic recovery grants of up to $1000 to help community

Some of these might include conducting COVID-19 safe training and activities that allow groups to reconnect and continue activities.

City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Kim O’Keeffe encouraged eligible not-for-profit organisations to apply.

“The Social Recovery Quick Response Grant has been created to fund community-led recovery activities,” she said.

“The grants will fund activities that promote positive mental and physical health, build community resilience and engagement, and assist with the re-engagement of volunteers.

“The greater Shepparton community has initiated and delivered a range of social recovery activities throughout the pandemic.”

A total of $20,000 is available through the grant program, with up to $1000 available for each project.
