The sound of laughter, singing and excited chatter filled the air as students gathered together, proudly dressed in their favourite sporting attire for the special occasion.
The day began with music, dancing and plenty of cheer before rolling into a fun-filled program of sporting activities enjoyed by students across the school.
Driven entirely by the school's Junior School Council, the gold coin donation dress-up day raised funds for MND, a cause that teacher Narelle Wood said was close to the hearts of many students.
“It was something the students were really passionate about supporting,” she said.
“They wanted to do their part to raise awareness and help make a difference.”
The event not only raised valuable funds but also showcased the enthusiasm, leadership and community spirit of the students, who embraced the day with energy and excitement from start to finish.
Students spent the day enjoying a wide range of outdoor activities, from football and downball to newspaper hockey and a host of other games that kept everyone active, engaged and smiling.
The Prep students enjoyed footy out on the field with the school’s sports teacher.
