A man was taken to hospital after a unit fire in Mooroopna on Friday, February 6.
A CFA spokesperson said firefighters were called to the fire in a block of units in McLennan St just before 2.30pm.
Mooroopna CFA and Shepparton Fire Rescue Victoria responded to an automatic alarm to the premises.
They found a small unit fire on the first floor of the building, which was quickly extinguished, the spokesperson said.
The fire did not spread to any other units in the complex.
The CFA spokesperson said a man was outside the building when he was treated by Ambulance Victoria paramedics.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said the man, aged in his 30s, was taken to Goulburn Valley Health in a stable condition.
Other paramedics also remained on scene to support firefighters by providing health monitoring, the spokesperson said.
The CFA will conduct an investigation into how the fire started.
