It’s a matter of emergency to eat a snag

The Blue Ribbon Foundation is giving the public even more reason to love a Bunnings snag.

When emergency service supporters pull together for emergency health care, it truly is the sauce on the snag.

This Saturday, the local branch of the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation is monopolising the Bunnings burners and barbecuing up a feast for fundraising.

There’ll be no grilling in dingy dark interview rooms; that will all be taking place on the hotplates in front of the big, green shed on Benalla Rd, Shepparton.

All money raised at the barbecue will go directly to support GV Health’s emergency service delivery.

The Blue Ribbon Foundation perpetuates the memory of fallen Victoria Police officers, who have died in the line of duty, by supporting worthwhile community projects across the state.

It aims to encourage the public to remember the sacrifice of officers who have lost their lives while serving Victoria, and to show all currently serving members that their work and commitment are valued by their community.

The barbecue will operate at Bunnings Shepparton, from 8am to 4.30pm on Saturday, August 15.
