The annual celebration of dads, father figures, carers and guardians is fast approaching, occurring on Sunday, September 7.

Father’s Day playgroup
On Monday, September 1 at the Broadford Living and Learning Centre, a special Father’s Day-themed playgroup will take place.
For a morning of socialising while the kids play, head to the centre on High St, Broadford at 10am.
The two-hour event will be at a cost of $3 per family.
Bunnings family event
On Thursday, September 4, Bunnings Seymour will host a Father’s Day celebration.
Activities for the whole family will be in store, with a Bluey-themed scavenger hunt, kids’ DIYs, entertainment and more bringing all the fun to the free event.

Father’s Day at the Royal
The Royal Hotel in Seymour will be hosting a special feast on the big day.
A buffet breakfast, with à la carte options, will take place from 10am, and the normal menu will start at noon for an unforgettable lunch.
Options for carvery will be available, including soup, roast meat and roasted vegetables.

Dine at Trawool
Lunch and dinner will be served at the Trawool Estate on Father’s Day.
With a 500g grass-fed rib eye steak special at $66 and a complimentary Starward Whisky drink, the Wild Water restaurant knows exactly what dads want.

Tahbilk Wines underground cellar tour and dining experience
Tahbilk will be putting on a show for Father’s Day.
Treat Dad to a complimentary guided winery tour through the historic cellars, with two sessions at 10am and 11am.
Afterwards, have a three-course lunch from noon at $65 per person.
For early birds, the hour-long buffet breakfast will begin at 9am at a cost of $30 per person.

Tallarook Farmers’ Market
The Tallarook Farmers’ Market, which takes place on the first Sunday of each month, will be running on Father’s Day.
From 9am to 1pm, market stalls will fill the Tallarook Mechanics Institute Hall at 44 Main Rd, Tallarook.
