House fire under investigation

Three CFA units attended the scene, along with Fire Rescue Victoria.

“Upon arrival ... firefighters immediately commenced suppression efforts,” the spokesperson said.

“The relevant power and gas companies were notified.”

The incident was deemed under control at 11:26pm and declared safe at 12:14am on Monday, March 2.

Shepparton police said they were waiting for an arson chemist to arrive from Melbourne to investigate the cause of the fire.
