A herd of 650 gleaming Harley-Davidsons will roll into town for the 2026 Victorian State HOG Rally.
The riders — all members of the Harley Owners Group, which has more than 1400 official HOG chapters worldwide — will congregate at Kialla’s MOVE motoring museum from Friday, March 6, to Sunday, March 8, during the Labour Day weekend.
“Are we excited and pumped? Absolutely,” rally host Oz HOG’s David Strawbridge said.
“We’re a not-for-profit club, committed to creating a memorable and positive experience for everyone in Shepparton, while showcasing the beautiful rural tourist attractions the area has to offer.”
For the general public, the shining beasts will be showcased at the rear of MOVE, while a police blockade from 10am on the Saturday will make way for the bikes to head out from the museum’s Emerald Bank home for an hour-long ‘thunder run roll’, a roaring convoy of steel horses moving through Goulburn Valley streets.
The thunder run route includes Sanctuary Dve, Archer Rd, River Rd, Central Kialla Rd, Karramomus Rd, Shepparton-Euroa Rd and the Midland Hwy before stopping at Total Tools for coffee and photos.
It will then continue on the Midland Hwy to Mooroopna, taking Watt Rd through to the Goulburn Valley Hwy before returning to MOVE at around 11am for a show and shine event.
The eight-category affair will take place between 11am and 2pm, where the public is invited to join the festivities, which will include market stalls, rally vendors and trade displays in the MOVE car park.
Hailing from across Australia, the visiting motorcyclists will also enjoy a packed calendar across the three days of private events, including three nights of local entertainment, hosted rides, chapter games and an awards presentation.
