God’s promise to Abraham was an everlasting covenant.
The church has not replaced Israel.
The same blessing God spoke to Abraham is still upon the people of Israel today.
God himself brought His scattered people from across the world and re-established the nation of Israel in 1948.
God’s hand of blessing upon them has been evident for all to see.
A wasteland has been restored, and today is the most fruitful productive land - second to none in the world.
God’s hand of protection is with them, and no nation will ever overtake them because God fights with them.
Despite their unbelief in Him, God has a special plan for them.
A father never gives up on his children, and wants only good for them.
God himself will bring them to their knees and on his second coming they will all recognise Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
Sadly, anyone who hates the Jewish people also hates Jesus and has an antichrist spirit.
Jesus was a Jew. Just as God loves Israel, he also loves all the nations of the world.
Any mother knows your firstborn has a special place in your heart, but you don’t love any of your other children any less.
God sent Jesus to save all people from every tribe and nation.
God loves Christians in the Middle East just as much as he loves his children in China and the western nations.
God will bless us and fight for us as we put our faith in Him.
As we approach Christmas, let’s reflect on this.
We have a God that never gives up on us.
