The grants support the development and implementation of community projects and activities as a part of council’s Community Development Framework.
Grants of up to $5000 are available per project, with each project required to provide a matching component of the total project cost, either through a cash or in-kind (material or labour) contribution.

Kialla Golf Club will purchase a spray spreader with the aid of a $4827 grant. The Kialla Golf Course is maintained by a group of volunteers and a replacement spray unit is required because the current one is beyond repair.
Know Your Rights - Point of Difference was awarded a $5000 grant for the Winyarrs' Weaving Circle, a project initiated by local artist Tammy Lee Atkinson for women of all ages and cultural backgrounds to gather to learn the ancient art of weaving, to yarn and to understand more about First Nations culture and issues.
